Beau Constantia 

If you are wanting a luxurious, full-on Capetonian wine-tasting experience, then this is the place for you! Beau Constantia is a boutique wine farm located at the top of Constantia Nek with panoramic views of Stellenbosch and Helderberg Mountain and ranges over False Bay as far as Hangklip.

In 2000, the fynbos and pine forests on the property were destroyed by a distressing fire – the slopes were then cleared, exposing a great opportunity for the planting of vineyards! The first vineyards were planted in 2003 and cultivated varieties including Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Shiraz and Petit Verdot. Two premium red blends have just been released under the bespoke Beau Constantia label – namely Lucca and Aidan. Which are hand-crafted to its own unique style by winemaker, Justin van Wyk. Definitely worth trying!  

The Chef’s Warehouse

Expect a seasonal and produce-driven menu that changes regularly, with their signature experience being tapas for 2. Situated at the top of the Constantia Valley, you will not only enjoy enjoy delicious food, but also one of the best views in Cape Town. Their lunch service is from 12.00 until 14.00, with dinner offered from 17.30 until 20.00, Tuesday to Saturday and lunch only on Sundays.

They are also open daily  for Wine Tasting on Tuesday to Sunday from 11h00 – 18h00. The Constantia Wine Tour would be able to accommodate you at any time suited to you.
