What an amazing experience this was!! A day filled with sunshine, good company and the most exquisite wines from the Constantia region! Our guide Blake was very knowledgeable, did such a good job of showing us around and mostly importantly ensured the day ran smoothly so that my fiancé could propose! On a beautifully decorated deck overlooking the spectacular Silvermist Wine Estate my fiancé proposed and I said yes! Without the help of Blake and his colleagues the day wouldn’t have been as amazing as it was. I would love to go back and go on another tour with The Constantia Wine Tour, definitely a consideration for when we visit SA from the UK in the future!!!
I had such a great time on The Constantia Wine Tour visiting a variety of the exquisite Constantia Wine Estates. I would thoroughly recommend this Tour with a group of friends. Ask for Blake to be your guide as he made our trip that much more enjoyable and has extensive knowledge of the Constantia area. I cant wait to do it again soon!
I had heard about the Constantia wine tour through instagram, and thought it would be an excellent way to introduce my Australian girlfriend to the oldest vineyards in South Africa.
Blake was our tour guide for the day, and he was superb. It’s one thing to have local knowledge, but another entirely to be a ‘local’. All the staff knew him wherever we went, and knew how he liked to run his tours. He was able to add to the tastings, and change the ‘menus’ to suits our palates.
We had great day, visiting the original farms, and tasting delicious wines. We shared a lovely lunch together, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
I would highly recommend the CWT, and Blake for a great day out in the Cape Winelands.
