Again and again, we go to Constantia Glen!
Why you ask? Let us tell you. “Acclaimed for bespoke wines and sweeping panoramic views, Constantia Glen is one of the gems of the Constantia Valley, the home of South African wine with a proud history of wine-making dating back to 1685.”
Constantia Glen is situated below Constantia Nek, just minutes away from Cape Town’s city center. This scenic boutique wine estate produces premium, cool climate wines.
Constantia Glen is well known for their popular Cheese & Charcuterie Platters that accompany their award-winning wines. If that isn’t enough to get your mouth watering, try their famous wine and chocolate pairing or finish your tasting experience with one of their delicious new desserts. Constantia Glen wines tasting range from the Classic wine tasting of five wines costing R55 per person, to the Premium wine tasting that includes all seven of their wines at R80 per person. If your purchase of wine values to R300, one wine tasting fee will be waived, talk about value for money!
The restaurant overlooks breathtaking views of the vineyards, so we recommend requesting a table right next to the glass doors. The kitchen at Constantia Glen is open from 10am until 5pm Sunday to Friday and 10am until 8pm on Saturdays, so ensure that you make a booking or alternatively request to stop here on your Constantia Wine Tour and we can organize Constantia Glen as your lunch stop.
