March brings you wine experiences from all over the Western Cape
As a Wine Touring Company we feel that it is essential to get involved in and learn more about all the wine festivals of the season as well as continuously enhance our wine tasting palates. March brings wine experiences in various areas of Cape Town that we are dying to explore more of.
Festivals are happening in Paarl, Franschhoek, Robertson and Stellenbosch. It’s the perfect opportunity to explore these areas and get a taste of what they have to offer. In order of dates the wine festivals of March are happening as follows.
Paarl: Ommiberg, Round the rocks 2017
Where? Paarl Winelands
When: 4 March

The Ommiberg , Round the Rocks wine festival is the perfect opportunity to get your feet working and stomp some grapes. The festival gives guests an opportunity to taste new wines, fresh from the harvest. 9 farms will be participating in the festivities, each providing their own wine speciality activity.

Franschhoek: Vrede En Lust Harvest Festival 2017
Where? Franschhoek, Vrede En Lust Wine EstateWhen: 11 March:
Price: R150 per person

The Vrede En Lust Harvest festival is the perfect opportunity to get your grape picking and grape stomping on. Guests will also be treated to a fruit and wine pairing where they can book their spot during the day. Guests are encouraged to make bookings early at registration to ensure they get their turn as this will be done on a first come, first serve basis. The pairing will be done by winemakers, Susan Erasmus and Karlin Nel and is not to be missed.

Robertson: Robertson Wine Valley Hands on Harvest
Where: Robertson of course
When: 10-12 March 2017
Price: (Activity and farm Dependent)
The Robertson Hands on harvest allows you to see the wine making process from the first pickings, to stomping the wines yourself, to the blending and then best for last, the tasting experience. Each of the participating farms has their own unique experience. To see what is on offer click here. Bookings are to be made up to 3 days before the start of the event.

Stellenbosch: Stellenbosch Pizza and Wine Festival 2017
When: 25-26 March:
Where: Welmoed Farm in Stellenbosch.

The Stellenbosch Pizza and wine festivals are the perfect opportunities to try out something different with pairing a variety of Stellenbosch wines with various pizzas from traditional to banting pizzas and everything in between. Guests will also be exposed to delicious meals served at to the 2 restaurants that exist on the farm.
