Where are the best views in Cape Town?
What’s wonderful about experiencing Constantia is the drive from Cape Town and the Greater Cape Town areas. It’s as good as site seeing in Cape Town and you get the best wine experiences too. You’ll either spend your 25 minute cruise through the forests that surround the roads on our side of Table Mountain or if you’re more into the ocean then that’s a route that makes for the best views in Cape Town looking out over Llandudno Beach, Camps Bay and the vast Atlantic Ocean.
The Constantia Wine Tour (View of the back of The Twelve Apostles, Table Mountain and Constantia Berg) photograph taken at Silvermist Organic Vineyards – here seen is our air conditioned luxury bus. You are looking onto Silvermist’s Vegetable Garden which they use for their kitchen at The Green Vine accompanied with their organic vineyard wines.

The Constantia Wine Tour – Our chilled out and 5 star reviewed guides allowing the guests to do as they please cause hey when you’re on our tour, you’re our King & Queen (Llandudno View – West Coast) 5km from Constantia.
Directions to View
If you’re staying in Simon’s Town, we often come up the Old Cape Road – Ou Kaapse Weg and enjoy views that look across the South Coast – False Bay while driving down the road and into Constantia. We often experience Chapman’s Peak Drive when we make our way back to Simon’s Town, enjoying Hout Bay and the pearly white sands on the 8km – Long Beach in Noordhoek.
Constantia is so fortunately exposed to the surrounding cooling Atlantic Ocean that you sometimes feel as though you’re touring on an Island but the roads are higher up on the cliffs and the mountains are steep making for a very cool climate. This cool climate is accompanied with lots of winter rain, summer sun and of course its unrivalled soil diversity. Once you’ve experienced our tour you would have realised just how perfectly situated Constantia is and has been since 1685 making it the oldest and arguably most successful wine region in the Southern Hemisphere.
While getting there you’ll experience what we feel are the best views in Cape Town and then of course once you’re in Constantia you might be thinking…well the best views are actually on the tour in the vineyards on our exclusive 4 x 4 off road experiences specially reserved for The Constantia Wine Tour. We trust you’ll be wanting to treat yourself to this fantastic experience and remember the wine ain’t good until you say so but trust us you’ll say it’s good and you’ll probably want it sent back to your home across these magnificent oceans, you can dream of Californiacation or simply enjoy Constantiacation with us!
